Food Art for Your Wall: Delicious City Prints

Posted in The Kitchen Sink (random)

I came across a project on Kickstarter today that I think many of you will love, especially if you love food and you love your city (or one of the cities featured in the project).

An artist, Roni Lagin, created a typographic series of popular foods from a number of cities (so glad to see San Francisco on the list, yay!). They’re really fun and I was so excited that I funded the project right away and purchased the San Francisco print, planning to hang it in the kitchen. The cost was only $20 for an 11×14″ signed print and that includes shipping anywhere in the U.S. I thought about getting the full set on 4×6″ postcards and making a large framed collage of all the cities but figured I would just stick with SF since I haven’t been to every city on the list.

Besides San Francisco, Lagin has made prints for Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Buffalo, New Orleans, Baltimore, Boston, Paris, London, Seattle, Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania gets two cities), D.C. and Charleston.

You can visit Lagin’s website here: www.deliciouscityprints.com or the Kickstarter page here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ronilagin/delicious-city-prints
